On Space told me about Juan Garcia Esquivel, a Mexican composer who would have choruses singing Zu-Zu-Zu in his compositions for no apparent reason. This made me curious, so I checked his music on allmusic and found that yes, his sound has the required ammount of madness to add him to my shopping list. Think a mariachi Lalo Schiffrin and you'll be getting there.
