Flight Visualisations

Here are a couple of flight visualisations for you today...

The first shows the flight paths of a delivery company's flights trying to get into the Memphis hub as a thunderstorm passes through the area. They look like a swarm of bees trying to avoid a plume of smoke.

The second, on a much larger scale, shows the flight paths of all airplanes in the U.S. in one day. here is an overview (quicktime). For the individual videos click here.
