1. There is no world championship for freehand circle drawing (although seeing as how the joke was inspired by watching bartending championships on TV, one may certainly be forgiven for beleiving otherwise)

2. This skill was not one that took a large amount of his time. He just got sick of using a compass.

3. He's been doing the World Championship schtick for about 10 years, and just about all of the students are aware that it's a gag."
